The FLORECER program fosters a college-going culture and increases college access and preparedness for adolescent youth by equipping and empowering students and parents with the knowledge, skills, and tools to navigate pathways to higher education.
OUR SERVICES
Our services increase the knowledge, trajectory, and preparedness of youth to pursue higher education. Our programs offers comprehensive college readiness programming, parent engagement, pro-social activities, campus visits, civic engagement activities, and meaningful mentorship opportunities.

IMPROVING COLLEGE ATTAINMENT
FLORECER promotes postsecondary education and workforce training opportunities, addressing the shortage of skilled, qualified workers, which affects the economic health of both families and the Yuma County community.
COMMUNITY RESILIENCE
With an intervention program such as FLORECER to guide our youth, a cycle of poverty is broken, educational attainment is improved, and a historically underserved community flourishes.
